Authentic and artistic mid-century Seattle apartments
A boutique community. Open courtyards. Private patios, decks and in some cases, even yards! Freshly detailed and updated mid-century interiors. What’s not to love?
What happened in 1962 in Seattle? The Century 21 Exposition or Seattle’s World’s Fair, celebrating modern science, space exploration and “the progressive future” took place at the Seattle Center. The Washington State Pavilion (now Climate Pledge Arena) hosted people from all over the world. And of course, the Space Needle and our very own Troll Eye Apartments opened their doors. As a nod to our 60s sibling structures, each apartment at Troll Eye boasts a one-of-a-kind space age door graphic welcoming residents home to their retro residence.
Embracing mid-century design, the distinct residences at Troll Eye include one- and two-bedroom homes with square footages from 520 to 800 square feet. Details such as wainscotting and built-ins retain the character of the 60s, but large sound-insulated windows and updated kitchens and baths ensure the community is in step with our modern world.
Troll Eye Apartments sits under the watchful eye of its famous neighbor, the Fremont Troll, who was created under the Aurora Bridge in 1990. Some call it good luck. We call it a good location! Stroll easily to bars, restaurants, breweries, recreation, Lake Union, grocery stores and of course, the famous Fremont Sunday Market. When you’ve had your fill, come back to your home in the Center of the Universe and relax on your private covered deck or patio. Groovy.

A SIDE NOTE, IMPORTANT TO US
At Cliffside , we are welcoming to all people
Cliffside is an Indigenous-owned company, located in Seattle on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish people, whose ownership includes citizens of the Nez Perce Nation. True to Fremont’s unofficial motto, De Libertas Quirkas, we also try to not take ourselves too seriously, and encourage our residents to be themselves, whatever that turns out to be!
